Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Safari Gateway
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Settle in and relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the city or enjoy the lush gardens of your lodge. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Giants of the Wild
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its huge elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through this beautiful park and spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Have a picnic lunch and continue exploring before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Highlands – Cultural & Scenic Experience
Leave Tarangire after breakfast and drive through scenic landscapes toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. On the way, stop for a cultural visit in a Maasai village to learn about traditional life. Arrive in the Karatu area in the afternoon, relax at your lodge, and enjoy the cool highland air. Overnight near Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Natural Wonder
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning for a full-day game drive. This incredible natural caldera is packed with wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool and continue game viewing until late afternoon. Return to your lodge on the crater rim or in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Ngorongoro to Serengeti – Endless Plains Adventure
After breakfast, drive toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive along the way. Arrive in the Serengeti by midday and begin spotting wildlife — lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and (seasonally) the Great Migration. Settle into your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight under the stars.
Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti – Safari at its Peak
Spend the day exploring the Serengeti with game drives in different areas, depending on wildlife movement. Track the Big Five, watch predators hunt, and if you’re lucky, witness a river crossing or large herds of wildebeest and zebra on the move. Optional hot air balloon safari available (pre-booking required). Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.
Day 7: Serengeti to Zanzibar – From Wild to White Sands
Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, then transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your beach resort. Relax with the sound of the ocean and enjoy dinner at your beachfront lodge or hotel.
Day 8: Zanzibar – Beach Bliss & Optional Activities
Today is yours to relax or explore. Enjoy the beach, swim in the turquoise waters, or book optional activities such as a spice tour, Stone Town tour, snorkeling, diving, or a visit to Jozani Forest to see red colobus monkeys. Overnight at your beach resort.
Day 9: Zanzibar – Leisure & Culture
Spend another day at leisure or mix it with adventure and culture. You might take a dhow cruise at sunset, explore local villages, or indulge in a Swahili cooking class. Enjoy your final full day in paradise with dinner by the ocean.
Day 10: Departure from Zanzibar – Farewell Tanzania
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast by the beach. Depending on your flight time, you may have a few more hours to relax before your transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your departure flight — ending your unforgettable bush to beach adventure in Tanzania.
